# Object credits

The objects on Lintel's landing page are photogrammetry scans of real pieces
from the Smithsonian's collections, released under CC0 1.0 (public domain
dedication) through Smithsonian Open Access. Each was downloaded as the
Smithsonian's own USDZ and run through Lintel's object converter, the same
code a capture from the iPhone goes through (`scripts/make-landing-objects.ts`).
`model.glb` and `proxy.glb` in each folder are that converter's output.

- Changes: the studio plane under the model was removed, the model was turned and scaled to a 163.4 mm body, its mesh was decimated to about half its triangles (the logo mesh excepted), its textures were re-encoded as WebP at 512 px, and the file was compressed with meshopt (`scripts/make-phone.ts`). The mesh is otherwise as the author made it.
